Overview

The Expert Lecture on “How to Draft Matrimonial Petitions & Applications” is designed to provide students with practical insights into the drafting of pleadings in matrimonial matters. The session will bridge the gap between theoretical understanding of family law and its practical application by introducing students to the structure, essential contents, language, and legal requirements of matrimonial petitions and applications. The lecture will be delivered by Ms. Palak Munjal, Advocate, Palak Munjal & Associates and Panel Lawyer, Delhi Legal Aid Services, providing students with valuable professional and practice-oriented perspectives.

Objectives of Event

  1. To familiarise students with the structure and essential components of matrimonial petitions and applications filed before competent courts.
  2. To develop practical drafting skills by helping students understand the appropriate legal language, pleadings, facts, grounds, and reliefs to be incorporated in matrimonial matters.
  3. To bridge the gap between classroom learning and legal practice by exposing students to professional approaches and practical considerations involved in matrimonial litigation.
  4. To enhance students’ understanding of procedural and legal requirements relevant to the drafting and presentation of matrimonial petitions and applications.
