Overview

Sharda School of Design is organizing a Teej Celebration to celebrate the rich cultural traditions, artistic expressions, and festive spirit associated with Teej. The event will provide students and faculty with an opportunity to participate in traditional and creative activities, experience Indian cultural heritage, and appreciate the significance of Teej through a contemporary and engaging celebration. The programme may include traditional attire, Mehndi, music, creative activities, and other Teej-themed engagements.

Objectives of Event

The intended objectives are to:

  • Celebrate and promote the cultural traditions and heritage associated with Teej.
  • Provide students with an opportunity to engage in traditional cultural activities and creative expression.
  • Encourage appreciation of Indian customs, folk traditions, art, music, and festive practices.
  • Promote interaction, participation, creativity, and a sense of community among students and faculty.
  • Create an inclusive platform where students can express cultural identity through design, art, fashion, music, dance, and other creative forms.
  • Strengthen cultural awareness and encourage students to preserve and reinterpret traditional practices in contemporary ways.
