Overview

As part of the celebrations of World Orthodontic Health Day, the Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics is organizing an academic lecture program titled “From Scan to Smile: Case Selection & Workflow in Invisalign.”

The session is exclusively designed for orthodontic students and faculty members to enhance their understanding of contemporary clear aligner therapy and digital orthodontic workflows. The lecture will be delivered by dental professionals Dr. Parul Singh and Dr. Karneshwar Nagpal, who will discuss the principles of Invisalign treatment, appropriate case selection, digital scanning protocols, treatment planning, and stepwise clinical workflow from diagnosis to smile transformation.

The program aims to provide academic enrichment and clinical insights into evidence-based aligner therapy, while familiarizing participants with advancements in digital orthodontics and contemporary esthetic treatment approaches.

Objectives of Event

  • To provide orthodontic students and faculty with updated knowledge regarding Invisalign therapy and digital orthodontics.
  • To discuss appropriate case selection criteria for successful aligner-based orthodontic treatment.
  • To familiarize participants with digital scanning procedures and virtual treatment planning workflows.
  • To enhance understanding of the stepwise clinical workflow involved in Invisalign treatment from diagnosis to final outcomes.
  • To promote academic discussion on recent advancements and innovations in esthetic orthodontic treatment modalities.
  • To commemorate World Orthodontic Health Day through academic activities focused on modern orthodontic care and patient-centered treatment approaches.
