Overview

Community connect has two-pronged aim  first to help various socio economic communities Community Connect at any level and second to let students know the real life problems of various sections of the society. Therefore, Sharda University also focus on to rejuvenate and empower rural community and the communities which need to be assisted to reach to grow well with the rest of the social structure. Sharda University extend them a helping hand by providing solutions of regular obstacles of life in fast paced urban rural  surrounding of Greater NOIDA. 

This is what Sharda School of Humanities and Social Sciences’ students now want to be a bridge between these two parts of the societies while connecting with the communities of Khairpur Gurjar rural areas of Greater NOIDA. 

Khairpur Gurjar is a Village in Bisrakh Block in Gautam Buddha Nagar District of Uttar Pradesh State, India. It belongs to Meerut Division .

Objectives of Event

To undertake the community connect programme while covering myriad ideas of helping and understanding different communities of the village under the guidance of their mentors from Economics, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.  

1. The community connect programme is meant to enable the students to acquire knowledge regarding the various kinds of social issues and their optimum resolution. 

2. It will help them understand the various ways in which social responsibility can be undertaken. 

3. The programme will enable them to develop skills to break an issue into various modules and resolve them effectively. 

4. The students will be able to conduct independent research and generate relevant reports
