Sharda School of Nursing Science & Research, Sharda University is organizing “Children’s Day Celebration on 14th November, 2025.

Children's Day is celebrated all over India to raise awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. It is celebrated on 14th November every year on the birthday of the first (former) Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known to have been fond of children. Children are the future of our world. The day serves as a tribute to his love and concern for young minds.

The theme for Children's Day 2025 is my day, my rights, which focuses on empowering children to voice their opinions and ensuring their rights are protected and pursued daily.

Objectives of Event

  • To provide a safe and healthy childhood.
  • To raise awareness about children’s rights.
  • To emphasizes the importance of play and recreational activities in a child's life.
  • To celebrate and appreciate the unique qualities, abilities, and talents of children.
