Overview

 

The training program covers multiple advanced areas of modern biological techniques. Under Viral Proteomics, participants will gain hands-on experience in protein assay techniques using SDS-PAGE. In Viral Genomics, training will be provided on gene expression analysis through Real-Time RT-PCR assay. The Plant Genomics module includes DNA extraction from plant sources, amplification of extracted DNA, and quantification using a Nanodrop Spectrophotometer. In addition, participants will receive practical training on the quantification of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
