Overview

Sharda School of Nursing Science & Research, Sharda University is organizing Role plays and exhibition on “Breast cancer awareness month-2026” On 27nd October 2026. Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women worldwide. According to the World Health Organization, approximately 2.4 million women were diagnosed with breast cancer worldwide, with around 694,000 deaths. Lack of awareness about its signs, symptoms, risk factors, and early detection may lead to delayed diagnosis and treatment. Breast cancer awareness is essential to educate women about recognizing unusual breast changes, seeking timely medical advice, and undergoing recommended screening. Increasing awareness can promote early diagnosis, improve treatment outcomes, reduce complications, and help save lives.
