Overview
This intensive hands-on training program is designed to provide participants with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience in Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) for the quantitative determination of metals in food, pharmaceutical, and clinical samples. The program covers the fundamental principles of atomic absorption, instrument components, method development, calibration techniques, sample preparation, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and data interpretation. Participants will gain practical exposure to flame AAS operation, optimization of analytical parameters, preparation of calibration standards, and analysis of real-world samples. The training also emphasizes laboratory safety, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and regulatory requirements relevant to analytical laboratories. By the end of the program, participants will acquire the technical skills required to perform accurate elemental analysis and confidently operate AAS instruments for research, quality control, and industrial applications.
