Overview

Pro Bono Club, Sharda School of Law is organizing a Cyber Awareness Outreach Programme in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Police (Cyber Crime Cell) to educate students and the community about rising cyber-crimes, online frauds, and digital safety measures.

The programme will begin with an expert session by the Inspector from Uttar Pradesh Cyber Police, followed by student-led awareness activities including a cyber safety skit for rural and semi-urban populations.

Objectives of Event

  1. To provide students with first-hand knowledge of cybercrimes, cyber laws, and preventive strategies through an interactive session with officials of the Uttar Pradesh Police Cyber Crime Division.
  2. To sensitize students and the community about common online threats such as phishing, OTP fraud, identity theft, cyber stalking, and digital financial scams.
  3. To promote safe digital practices and responsible use of technology among rural and semi-urban populations through interactive and engaging methods such as skits and street plays.
  4. To strengthen community legal awareness through pro bono engagement and outreach initiatives by law students.
