Overview
Sharda School of Design, is organizing a Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam It is a unique and meaningful workshop organized as part of the student orientation program. The initiative connects emotional values with environmental responsibility by encouraging students to plant a tree in honor of their mothers. Each planted sapling symbolizes gratitude, love, and respect for the nurturing role of mothers, while also reflecting a commitment to sustainability and greener futures. The event blends cultural sensitivity with ecological awareness, creating a memorable start to the students’ journey at the university.
Objectives of Event
THE INTENDED OBJECTIVE IS TO:
- Emotional Connection – To instill a sense of gratitude towards mothers and acknowledge their nurturing role in shaping lives.
- Environmental Awareness – To inspire students to actively contribute to environmental protection and sustainable living.
- Community Building – To foster unity among new students by engaging them in a collective and meaningful activity.
- Value-Based Orientation – To make the orientation program more impactful by combining tradition, responsibility, and creativity.
- Legacy Creation – To encourage students to nurture the planted tree as a living symbol of their academic journey and personal growth.
