Overview
Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, School of Dental Sciences, Sharda University is organizing "World Oral Health Day" on 7th April 2025 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in the department room no. 9, 4th floor.
Program description:
- The post graduate students will distribute pamphlets among the patients visiting the Sharda Hospital (dental and medical school). The pamphlets will provide information on how to take basic care for children's teeth.
- Oral health talk and correct brushing technique will be taught to the children enrolled in the day care centre of Sharda University. All the children will be awarded certificates to positively reinforce their initiative towards good oral health.
- Toothbrushes and toothpastes will be distributed to the children.
Objectives of Event
- Oral health promotion.
- To create awareness amongst parents regarding dental care for their children's teeth.
- To educate children regarding the importance of good oral hygiene measures through oral health talk and brushing demonstration.
