Overview
The Environment Club under the aegis of Dean Students’ Welfare in collaboration with the SDG Cell is organizing a Quiz Competition on 21st May 2026 on the theme “Sustainable Water & Energy” as part of the nationwide World Environment Day (WED) 2026 Pre-Campaign (15 May – 5 June 2026) under “Mission LiFE”, as per the guidelines of UGC.
About the Event:
The pre-campaign will serve as a mass mobilization drive leading up to the global celebrations of World Environment Day 2026. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between passive awareness and active sustainable living by encouraging individuals to adopt eco-friendly practices and environmentally responsible habits in their daily lives.

Objectives of Event
To create awareness among students about the importance of sustainable water and energy conservation.
To promote the vision of Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) by encouraging environmentally responsible habits and sustainable living practices.
To enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of environmental challenges, climate action, and resource management.
To motivate youth participation in nationwide initiatives related to World Environment Day 2026.
