Overview
The Office Of Dean Students Welfare (DSW) and Sharda School of Humanities & Social Sciences (SSHSS), Sharda University are organizing a Yogasana competition as part of Yog Saptaah to promote the practice of yoga and encourage students to showcase their physical, mental, and artistic abilities through yogic postures. The competition aims to foster discipline, concentration, flexibility, balance, and overall well-being among participants. It will provide a platform for students to demonstrate their proficiency in Yogasana while inspiring others to adopt yoga as a way of life. The event also seeks to celebrate the spirit of healthy competition and create awareness about the significance of yoga in achieving holistic health and wellness.
Objectives of Event
1. To foster intellectual curiosity and interest in yogic sciences among Shardans.
2. To provide a platform for Shardans to showcase their knowledge and understanding of yoga.
3. To encourage participation in co-curricular activities that contribute to holistic development.
4. To strengthen the culture of health, wellness, and mindfulness within the university community.
