Overview
Sharda School of Business is organising a one-day hands-on workshop on "Achieving Teaching Excellence with AI" for SSBS faculty. The workshop will cover practical applications of AI in teaching, assessment, and academic integrity. Participants will learn to leverage AI tools for session planning, case discussions, and setting assessments, while navigating AI-related academic policies. Led by AI professional Rajeev Soni.
Objectives of Event
- Generative AI explained in simple non-technical language;
- Using AI to prepare for sessions: case discussions, readings, scenarios, and session design;
- Setting and marking assessments, assuming students have access to such AI tools;
- Building a simple AI assistant for your own course;
- What students are expected to produce, and how to respond to it;
- Understanding how AI systems work and why they fail;
- Academic integrity and what a sensible AI policy for a course looks like.
