Overview
Department of Community Medicine, Sharda School of Medical Sciences and Research, Sharda Hospital, Sharda University is organizing "Contraception Day 2026" on 28th September 2026 at the Urban Health Training Centre (UHTC) and 30th September 2026 at the Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC). The programme aims to raise awareness among the community regarding the importance of contraception, family planning, birth spacing, and the prevention of unintended pregnancies. This Year’s Theme being “A Choice for all – agency, intention, access”.
Objectives of Event
- To sensitize the community regarding small family norms and improve awareness regarding all contraceptive methods available.
- To enable young individuals (of reproductive age group) to make informed choices on their sexual and reproductive health.
