Overview

Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research (SSNSR), Sharda University is organizing Nurses Week on the occasion of International Nurses Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Ms. Florence Nightingale and to mark the Nurses contributions towards people’s health. Theme for the event is  “Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives”

Objectives of Event

  • To provide participants a platform to express their artistic ideas through face painting (SDG 9)
  • To create awareness about the contributions and challenges of Nursing Profession (SDG 4)
  • To allow participants convey gender equality, peace and justice along with strong institutional presence through visual art (SDG 5, 10 & 16)
  • To celebrate nurses week in honour of their services for providing good health (SDG 3)
