Objectives of Event

The objective of this workshop is to create awareness and deepen the understanding of child rights among students, while highlighting the roles and responsibilities of individuals, institutions, and society in safeguarding these rights. Through the insightful session led by Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Member Secretary, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), the workshop aims to:

  • Educate students about the legal, social, and ethical framework of child rights in India.
  • Sensitize them to the importance of protecting children from neglect, abuse, and exploitation.
  • Encourage active participation of students in promoting child-friendly environments within schools, families, and communities.
  • Inspire responsibility among the youth as future citizens to uphold and advocate for the rights and dignity of every child.
