The Open Book Quiz for Nursing Students by NPREP is designed to promote critical thinking and application-based learning. It encourages students to use resources effectively, enhancing their clinical reasoning and preparing them for real-world nursing practice. It promotes deeper understanding of nursing concepts and strengthens problem-solving abilities essential for professional practice.

Through this initiative, NPREP seeks to foster a culture of active learning, academic integrity, and competency-based education, preparing nursing students for both academic excellence and clinical challenges.

 

Objectives of Event

  • The goal is to promote critical thinking skills among nursing students by encouraging analysis and interpretation instead of rote memorization.
  • To enhance application-based learning, enabling students to apply theoretical knowledge to clinical and real-life scenarios.
  • To develop effective resource utilization skills, students need to learn how to use textbooks, guidelines, and evidence-based materials efficiently.
