Overview
Sharda School of Agricultural Sciences proposes to organize an educational and exposure tour (AGP 611) for the students of VI semester, B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture to the fields of Sh. Kanwal Singh Chauhan, Padma Shri Awardee Farmer, GB Member- ICAR, Member FSSAI, Govt. of India on 11th April, 2025. Students shall have an opportunity to interact with him and the farmer’s group to obtain information on Integrated Agricultural Farming System, agricultural practices, crop cultivation methods and farm management etc. and in addition, the other practices for revenue generation and built up of economy for the farming community.
Objectives of Event
§ To provide practical exposure to students on the Integrated Agricultural Farming System through the field visit.
§ To update their knowledge on modern agricultural practices, crop cultivation methods, and farm management strategies through their interaction with the Padma Shri Awardee progressive farmer.
§ To encourage self-employment capability utilizing entrepreneurial development skills and Integrated Farming Practices.
