Overview
The programme aims to enhance the technical knowledge and practical skills of faculty members in developing AI-powered applications and intelligent agents using Microsoft Azure's AI technologies and cloud-based development services.
The FDP focuses on emerging areas such as generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Azure AI services, AI application development, and intelligent AI agents. Participants will gain insights into designing, developing, integrating, and deploying AI-driven solutions for real-world applications in education, research, industry, and business environments. The programme will also introduce participants to responsible AI practices, secure application development, and the effective use of cloud-based AI tools.
Through expert-led sessions, demonstrations, hands-on laboratory exercises, and practical activities, the FDP will provide participants with opportunities to explore AI application development workflows, agent-based automation, and the integration of AI capabilities into modern software systems. The programme is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation, enabling faculty members to incorporate contemporary AI technologies into teaching, curriculum development, student projects, and research activities.
The Six-day programme is expected to strengthen participants' competencies in cloud-based AI development, encourage innovation in teaching and research, and promote the adoption of industry-relevant technologies in higher education. It will also provide a platform for academic knowledge sharing, professional development, and collaboration between academia and industry.
Overall, the FDP represents a significant initiative by ICT Academy and Sharda University to empower faculty members with emerging AI development skills and prepare them to contribute effectively to the evolving landscape of intelligent applications and AI-driven digital transformation.
