Overview

Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research organized a value-based educational and spiritual awareness event on the Bhagavad Gita to promote holistic well-being, ethical living, and mental wellness among students and faculty members. The event highlighted the relevance of Bhagavad Gita teachings in modern life, particularly in stress management, emotional resilience, self-discipline, leadership, and responsible social behavior.

The program included Bhagavad Gita recitation, motivational sessions by Speaker HG Jiva Gopal Das, Head, Institutional & Corporate Affairs, ISKCON Noida, group discussions, and interactive talks on the practical application of spiritual principles in personal and professional life. Participants actively engaged in discussions related to moral values, compassion, harmony, positive thinking, and sustainable living practices inspired by the Bhagavad Gita

The event promotes human values, cultural awareness, mental well-being, ethical responsibility, and holistic personality development

Objectives of Event

·         ·         To create awareness regarding the teachings and practical applications of the Bhagavad Gita in daily life, supporting SDG 4: Quality Education through value-based and holistic learning.

·         To promote mental well-being, emotional stability, and stress management through spiritual learning, contributing to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.

·         To encourage ethical values, compassion, self-discipline, and responsible behavior among students, aligned with SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.

To promote harmony, inclusiveness, respect, and peaceful coexistence among individuals, contributing to SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
