Overview
Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research organized the orientation program Deeksharambh 2025 with the theme "Yuva Shakti, Viksit Bharat," marking the beginning of the new academic session for nursing students. The occasion was dedicated to welcoming and guiding first-semester students as they embarked on their academic journey in the nursing profession.
The program was conducted over the course of a week and included a series of informative and interactive sessions designed to familiarize students with the academic environment, institutional policies, professional ethics, and the wide range of learning opportunities available at Sharda University. Through these sessions, students gained valuable insights into the various aspects of nursing education, research, clinical training, extracurricular activities, and personal development.
The orientation program served as an excellent platform to inspire, motivate, and prepare students to become skilled, compassionate, and responsible healthcare professionals committed to serving society.

Objectives of Event
· To formally welcome the nursing students and facilitate their smooth integration into the academic and cultural environment of Sharda University. (SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being)
· to familiarize students with the vision and mission of the Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research and inspire them to uphold the highest standards of excellence in healthcare. (SDG 4 – Quality Education)
· to introduce students to the curriculum, teaching methodologies, academic resources, and support systems available at the Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research. (SDG 4 – Quality Education)
· To orient students toward the values, discipline, professionalism, and dedication required in the nursing profession, thereby laying a strong foundation for their future careers. (SDG 3 and SDG 4)
· To encourage active participation in interactive sessions, discussions, and extracurricular activities aimed at building confidence, strengthening communication skills, and fostering a sense of belonging among students. (SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being)
