Overview
It is with immense pleasure that Sharda School of Law (SSOL), Sharda University, wishes to announce the launch of a unique interpersonal, informal and inquisitive talk series titled as, ‘Chai Pe Charcha – A Beyond Classroom Conversation on the Law In-Practice’. The underlying thought inspiring this distinctive endeavour is to provide a platform to our law students to indulge in an up-close and personal conversation with legal luminaries invited as distinguished guests. Interested students selected from within the School shall get an exceptional opportunity to interact with the esteemed dignitaries against a relaxed setting and discuss their concerns, aspirations, challenges and prospects in the legal profession.
Objectives of Event
- To contemporize the traditional experiential learning methods and supplement guest lectures with a dialogue-centric expert interaction.
- To provide a stage to the law students of SSOL to indulge in a casual yet fruitful conversation with a legal luminary against an informal setting.
- To give an opportunity to the law students to articulate their concerns and put forth their queries vis-à-vis the nuances, opportunities and challenges of the legal profession and the requisite skill-set to navigate through them.
- To prepare the students to become adept future lawyers, prepared to smoothly transit and maneuver through the theory of law to its functionality.
- To bridge the gap between the industry and academia, as envisioned by the UGC.
