Overview

The Department of EECE, Sharda School of Engineering and Science, is organising a Drone Training Programme on 4th April 2026 and 18th April 2026 at 221 Block 1 and 008 Block 1, Sharda University. This programme aims to provide students with hands-on exposure to drone technology, UAV operations, and real-time applications of aerial robotics, enabling them to understand both theoretical and practical aspects of drone systems.

Objectives of Event

  • To provide students with practical knowledge of drone components, assembly, and working principles.
  • To offer hands-on training in drone flying, navigation, and control systems.
  • To familiarize students with applications of drones in various sectors such as surveillance, mapping, agriculture, and cinematography.
  • To introduce students to safety protocols, regulations, and ethical considerations in drone operations.
  • To bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world UAV applications.
  • To enhance students’ technical and analytical skills in the field of aerial robotics and IoT-based systems.
