Overview

The Juvenile Justice Wing of Pro Bono Club (Legal Aid Society), Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, is organising a Donation Drive for girls (below 18 years of age) and infants (0-2 years), sheltered at the (Government) Child Care Institution, Gautam Budh Nagar. These girls comprise of juvenile delinquents, victims of sexual offences, orphans, those abandoned and rescued. You all are requested to be a part of this benevolent act and donate in large numbers - clothes, bedsheets, blankets, stationery items, books, toiletries, etc. that you may deem suitable for girls and infants in this age group. The donations shall be accepted till Saturday, September 20th, 2025 (contact details of the SPOCs have been herein-below mentioned).

Objectives of Event

 To conduct a donation drive to support the essential requirements of girls and their children residing at the Child Care Institution, Gautam Budh Nagar.

2.      To contribute towards community service and rights of children (girls), including those ‘in conflict with the law’ and ‘in need of care and protection’. 

3.      To assist the government in rehabilitating and reintegrating such girls as respectable members of society.

4.      To foster sensitivity, generosity, compassion and spirit of service amongst the students.
