Overview
The Department of Civil Engineering, Sharda School of Engineering & Science, Sharda University, is organising a four-day Surveying Field Training Camp at Rishikesh for second-year B.Tech. Civil Engineering students from 30 October to 2 November 2026. The camp aims to provide hands-on experience in topographic surveying, site selection, field measurements, surveying techniques, and contour map preparation. The programme will help students develop practical surveying skills, understand real-world field conditions, and apply theoretical concepts to engineering practice.
Objectives of Event

The objectives of the Survey Camp are:
1. Hands-on Training: To provide practical experience in surveying techniques, equipment usage, and fieldwork methodologies.
2. Skill Development: To enhance skills in land measurement, mapping, data collection, and analysis.
3. Teamwork and Collaboration: To foster teamwork, collaboration, and communication through group-based fieldwork activities and projects.
