Professional ethics are the principles that govern the behaviour of a person or group in a working environment. It creates a professional, mutually respectful atmosphere and improves communication, which helps any workplace to serve as a productive place. People feel better about their jobs when they feel respected, and that translates into better customer/patient  relationships as well.
