Department of Life Sciences (Food Science and Technology), Sharda School of Basic Sciences and Research, Sharda University Greater Noida in collaboration with Dio Siv Healthy Foods Pvt Ltd. organizing a visit to Global Event (World Food India 2024) at Bharat Madapm, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi for B.Sc. Food Science and Technology 5th semester and M.Sc. 3rd Semester students.

Objectives of Event

  • Food event is held which help students to learn about the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the food industry. Students can gain insights into food processing, packaging, and distribution.
  • Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing World Food India 2024 serves as a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among industry stakeholders.
  • To experience diverse cuisines and food cultures from around the world. Raise Awareness of Indian Food Culture The event aims to introduce the rich and diverse Indian food culture to the world.
  • Thematic sessions to explore how the food industry is addressing issues of sustainability, food security, and responsible production.
  • Emphasize the Role of Millets in International Food Processing Given the International Year of Millets in 2024, one of the specific objectives of World Food India 2024 is to highlight the significance of millets in the global food processing industry. 
  • Career oppurnities to discover potential internship and job opportunities within the food industry. Many companies and organizations may be looking for young talent at such events.
