Sports Society, DSW, Sharda University along with U.P. State Qwan Ki Do Association organising 3rd U.P. STATE QWAN KI DO CHAMPIONSHIP – 2024 on 29th, 30th November & 1st December 2024 at Block 45, Fifth floor, Sharda University, Greater Noida. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring athletes to showcase their skills and potentially become a part of our competitive championship program.

Qwan Ki Do is a Vietnamese martial art that integrates both physical and mental discipline. Developed by Pham Xuan Tong, it blends traditional Vietnamese martial techniques with philosophies from East Asian martial arts. Here are the key objectives of Qwan Ki Do:

Objectives of Event

1. Physical Development

  • Strength and Stamina: To build physical strength, endurance, and agility through structured training routines.
  • Flexibility and Coordination: Emphasis on movements that increase flexibility and refine coordination.
  • Self-Defense Skills: Teaching effective self-defense techniques to empower practitioners to protect themselves and others.

2. Mental and Emotional Growth

  • Self-Discipline and Focus: Developing the discipline required to stay committed to the practice and maintain mental clarity.
  • Emotional Resilience: Teaching control over emotions, including patience, humility, and respect for others.
  • Mindfulness and Inner Peace: Encouraging awareness of self and surroundings to foster inner peace and reduce stress.

3. Cultural Preservation

  • Vietnamese Martial Tradition: Honouring and preserving the martial traditions and philosophies of Vietnam.
  • Respect for Heritage and Masters: Instilling respect for the art’s lineage, teachers, and fellow practitioners.
