Sharda School of Nursing Science & Research, Sharda University is organizing “National Newborn Week Celebration” on 19th –20th November, 2024.
National Newborn Week is celebrated annually from November 15th – 21st every year to raise awareness about the importance of newborn care. This celebration aims to reduce mortality and morbidity among newborn in India. The theme for National Newborn Week 2024 is “Safety, Quality and Nurturing Care-Birth Right of Every Newborn”, and to focus on importance of proper newborn care, Educating Parents and need for a strong health care system.
Objectives of Event
- To improve care of newborn in the neonatal period.
- To reduce complication during newborn period.
- To strengthen health care services by improving skills of healthcare providers.
- To raise awareness about the importance of the newborn care for child survival and development.
