Protection of Women from Sexual Harassment (POSH) Training

Venue: APJ Kalam Auditorium, Block-3, Sharda University
Organizers: School of Law, Sharda University in collaboration with Police Commissionerate, Gautam Budha Nagar, and a local NGO.
Objectives of Event
The POSH training workshop aims to raise awareness among law students about the Protection of Women from Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act. The primary goals are to:
• Educate participants on the legal framework and provisions of the POSH Act.
• Enhance understanding of what constitutes sexual harassment in the workplace.
• Train students on procedures for addressing and reporting incidents of harassment.
• Promote a culture of respect and safety in professional environments.
