Sharda School of Law, Sharda University is organizing a Guest Lecture on “The rise of India as a Constitutional State” on Tuesday, 28th January, 2025.

 

It is compulsory for all students of BA.LL.B., BBA. LL.B 1st Year.

Objectives of Event

  • To understand the Historical Evolution of Indian Constitution
  • To analyze the Key Principles of the Indian Constitution.
  • To examine the Challenges and Milestones in India's Constitutional Journey.
  • To highlight India's Role as a Constitutional Democracy in a Global Context.
  • Evaluate the Role of Constitution in Social Justice.
  • Highlight the Role of the Constitution in Nation-Building.

Chief Guest Details:

Advocate Shri. Anirudh Tyagi (Gold medalist in Law) is a practicing Advocate at the High Court of Delhi. In 2024, he was honored with the prestigious Chancellor's Gold Medal for being the University Topper. During the academic journey, he held several key positions including, The President of the Literary and Debating Society, Executive Member of the Moot Court Society, among others.  In 2023, he represented Sharda University at the historic G20 Summit hosted in India.  On 26 July 2024, he was recognized as India's Top MyGov Ambassador by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.
