Pro Bono Club, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University is celebrating International Women's Day on Tuesday, 11th March 2025, with a Clothes Donation Drive for the maintenance and housekeeping female staff of Sharda University and an awareness session on women's rights.
Objectives of Event
Objective of the Event:
1. Educate women on their legal rights, workplace rights, and social protections.
2.Provide essential clothing to maintenance and housekeeping staff, recognizing their contribution.
3. Promote awareness of government schemes and legal aid services available to women.
4. Foster a culture of pro bono work and community service among students and faculty.
Outcome of the Event:
1. Women gain knowledge about their rights, helping them navigate workplace and societal challenges.
2. Housekeeping and maintenance staff receive essential clothing, improving their quality of life.
3. The initiative reinforces the university’s role in social justice and community service.
4. Law students develop a sense of responsibility and experience in pro bono work.
