The Department of Mathematics (SSBSR) is organizing an online interview session in association with DIGISAMAKSH Private Limited Organisation to provide the opportunity to get more internships for our students on Monday, 06-05-2024.

Objectives of the event:

The objective of this event is to provide opportunities for students to gain practical experience through internships. By inviting companies to provide internships, the department aims to expose students to real-world scenarios and provide them with hands-on experience in various industries and work environments.

Through this event, the department aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, by offering students the opportunity to apply their skills in real-world scenarios. Additionally, internships will help students gain industry knowledge, develop new skills, and build their professional network.

Internships profile categories:

1.      Human Capital Management Intern:  as an intern in Human Capital Management, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of HR while supporting the HR team in achieving the organization's goals related to talent management and employee engagement.  HR interns working for newer businesses generally cover a wider range of responsibilities. In contrast, if you are working for a large enterprise, your roles as an HR intern are likely to be more specific.

2.      Public Relations (PR) Intern: PR interns assist with developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns, building relationships with media professionals, drafting press releases and media pitches, monitoring media coverage, and assisting with events and other PR activities.

3.      Content Writer Intern: As a Content Writer Intern, your role involves creating engaging and informative content for various platforms. Like Content Creation, Research, Editing and Proofreading, SEO Optimization, Content Promotion, Collaboration, Analytics and Reporting, and Continuous Learning.

4.      Creative Designer Intern: Graphic Design Interns learn how to develop products such as brochures and newsletters by completing an internship in a company. Resume samples for Graphic Design Intern should mention duties such as discussing requirements with clients, developing original ideas, presenting concepts to clients, completing work in a timely manner, and doing any relevant tasks required by supervisors. 8.      Data Scientist Intern: Data scientist interns assist with analyzing and interpreting large data sets using statistical analysis and machine learning techniques, and assist with developing predictive models to gain insights into business operations.

1. Increased awareness among students about the importance of internships in gaining practical experience in their field.

3. Greater exposure of students to various industries and work environments through internships.

4. Increased development of students' communication and interpersonal skills through the interview process.

5. Increased understanding of the relevance of theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.

6. Development of new skills and knowledge among students through their internships.

7. Building of professional networks for students that could lead to future career opportunities.

8. Increased motivation among students to pursue their careers in the fields of Data Science and Mathematics.

9. Greater collaboration between the university and companies in the fields of Data Science and Mathematics.

10. Increased recognition of the university as a hub for talent in the fields of Data Science and Mathematics
