कर दिया जिसने हंसते हंसते, घर का चिराग देश के नाम,
एक दिया तो जलाओ यारों, उस माँ के भी नाम !
उजाले बिखेरो हर दिशा, दिए जलाओ उसकी शान में,
जिसने किया अपना सिंदूर विदा, देश के मान में !
रोशन करो हर जगह, उस पिता के सम्मान में,
जिसकी टूट गयी बुढ़ापे की लाठी, रखने इस के अभिमान में !
आँगन करो रोशन, बत्तियों की लौ बढ़ाओ,
उस बच्चे के त्याग में, लौटे जिसके पिता लिपट के तिरंगे में !
आओ मिल कर जलायें, एक दिया उस बहन के साथ में,
जो काट रही रक्षाबंधन भाई-दूज, अपने शहीद भाई की याद में !
आओ आज एक दिया जलाये उनके लिए,
जिन्होंने अपना सबकुछ किया कुर्बान देश के नाम,
एक दिया तो जलाओ शहीदों के नाम !!!
