Sharda School of Design, Architecture and Planning (SAP), Department of Architecture, Sharda University is planning to conduct a drive for donation of used clothes – “The Campus Closet Cleanout Drive in collaboration with GOONJ and NSS Cell, Sharda University” for the students of SSDAP.
University students often accumulate many clothes throughout their academic journey. Some items may be barely worn, while others might have sentimental value, but they all have one thing in common: they could find a new purpose in someone else's life. The Campus Closet Cleanout is an initiative to give back to the community and reduce textile waste by rehoming these gently used garments.
Gather Your Clothes: Sort through your wardrobe and pick out clothes that you no longer wear or need. Look for items in good condition that can be easily worn again.
Clean and Fold: Ensure that the clothes you donate are clean and in decent condition. Fold them neatly to make it easier for others to browse through the collection.
Drop-Off Location: On the event days, head to the designated drop-off location. Our enthusiastic volunteers will be there to receive your donations with a warm smile.
*Heavy rains continue to cause flooding and landslides in Bihar, Assam, Kerala and other parts of India. There is an urgent need for basic essentials such as dry rations, general clothing, mosquito nets, blankets, sanitary pads, general medicines, etc. in the affected areas. Your monetary and material contributions during this challenging time can make a significant impact.
