About the Event: Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, SHARDA SCHOOL OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES (SAHS) is organizing Industrial visit to Priya Gold (Surya Food & Agro Ltd ) Surajpur, Greater Noida, Renowned for its production of biscuits and bakery products. This visit aligns with their coursework, offering practical insights into the food industry’s operations and quality control mechanisms. This is a part of the course curriculum for 3rd  Semester students, M.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics.  

Objectives of Event

The primary objective of the industrial visit is to provide students with exposure to:

  • Food manufacturing processes, particularly the large-scale production of biscuits and bakery items.
  • Quality control and assurance practices in the food industry.
  • The role of food technologists in ensuring product safety, quality, and nutritional value.
  • Packaging, labeling, and distribution systems within the food industry.
