About the Event:
The webinar is intended to provide a deeper knowledge of gender equity and its relevance in current world scenarios for the students to guide them in driving a positive social impact by adopting practical strategies and actionable steps that promote gender equity in the workplace, community, or organization.

Objectives of Event
- To increase understanding of the gender equity concept and the importance of achieving it in different realms of life (e.g., workplace, education, etc.).
- To explore existing gaps in gender and inequalities across different sectors.
- To equip the students with practical strategies and tools to promote gender equity in their own environments.
- To present the students with successful initiatives and role models working towards a more equitable future.
- To foster discussion, knowledge sharing, and enhance students’ ability to advocate for and implement gender-equitable practices.

Mr. Azim Barbhuiya, English Language and Professional Development Trainer, Soft Skills, Department of Sharda Skills, Sharda University with over 6 years of experience in facilitating training sessions on Employability Skills using innovative teaching aids and learning methodologies. As a seasoned professional who has trained thousands of students and professionals, Mr. Azim brings real-world expertise in mentoring, problem-solving and decision-making, public speaking, training/facilitation/teaching, interpersonal communication, planning and organization, and conflict resolution.
