Overview

This is the initiative by the Department of Economics and International Business at Sharda University in collaboration with ICSSR. Scheduled for March 2nd, 2024, this event aims to unravel the dynamics of the DAY-NRLM scheme and its transformative impact on the adaptive capacity and resilience of marginal farmers in Haryana amidst the challenges caused by climate change. Dr. Rimple Manchanda, the convener, will be presenting the empirical findings of her project. With a diverse audience including research scholars, scheme beneficiaries, and self-help group members, the event anticipates collaborative dialogue and generating valuable insights to contribute to the ongoing discourse on sustainable agricultural practices and advancing knowledge and understanding in the realm of rural development and climate resilience.
