The Literary Society of Sharda University under the aegis of Office of Dean Students’ Welfare, in association with Department of Higher Education in Uttar Pradesh & Ministry of Education in India is pleased to announce an Intra-University Speech Competition on the topic “Atmanirbhar Bharat”- Self Empowered India on 2nd October 2024 under the “Seva Pakhwada” campaign.

Objectives of Event
● To foster awareness and understanding and encourage students to explore and articulate the concept of "Atmanirbhar Bharat" and its implications for India's economic, social, and technological development, thereby increasing awareness about this national initiative among the university community.
● To promote critical thinking and research and motivate participants to conduct in-depth research on various aspects of self-reliance and empowerment in the Indian context, fostering analytical skills and encouraging them to develop well-informed perspectives on the topic.
● To cultivate public speaking and leadership skills by providing a platform for students to enhance their oratory abilities, build confidence in presenting ideas to an audience, and develop leadership qualities that are essential for contributing to India's journey towards self-reliance and self empowerment.
