Enhancing Research Proficiency: EndNote for Citation Management and Basics of Biostatistical Analysis.

About the Event:

The aim of this event is to master EndNote for efficient reference management and incorporating biostatistical methods for robust data interpretation. The EndNote session will offer practical training on efficiently managing references, creating bibliographies, and applying various citation styles.

The biostatistical analysis will cover key concepts such as data organization, basic statistical tests (Chi-square and t-test, ANOVA), and enabling the participants to interpret research findings effectively. Furthermore, statistical analysis using GraphPad Prism and SPSS will introduce advanced tools for data analysis, visualization, and interpretation. This workshop offers an excellent opportunity to enhance research proficiency and build a strong foundation for academic excellence.

Objectives of Event

 

The primary objectives of the workshop are:

·         To enhance the citation management skills of the participants by creating awareness about citation import and it's formatting as per specific journal format using EndNote.

·         To provide foundational knowledge of biostatistical analysis through hands-on sessions using GraphPad Prism and SPSS, enabling attendees to analyze and interpret research data effectively.

·         To promote research proficiency by integrating citation management and statistical analysis, thereby improving participants' academic writing and data interpretation skills

This workshop is ideal for researchers, postgraduate and graduate students, and anyone looking to enhance their skills in citation management and biostatistical analysis.
