Overview
Department of Periodontology, School of Dental Sciences in collaboration with Indian Society of Periodontology is celebrating National Periodontist Day on 23rd February 2024. The theme for this year is “Say No to Bleeding Gums” Drive - A Pink Health Initiative.
The aim of the drive is to be the world’s biggest oral health awareness drive.

Objectives of Event
- To spread awareness about the importance of oral health and hygiene
- To emphasize on the connection between oral health and general health
Events for the day:
- Free Basic Periodontal Examination with distribution of samples of toothpaste & patient education leaflets.
- Nukkad Natak performance by undergraduate students.
- Slogan writing competition on the topic - Say No to Bleeding Gums.
- Debate competition on the topic - Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry: A Boon or a Curse.
- Reel making competition on the topic- Say No to Bleeding Gums.
