Overview
The Department of Community Medicine is conducting a “School Health Camp” on 2nd April 2024, to commemorate the launch of the school health program.
Objectives of Event
- To collect basic sociodemographic information of school-going children.
- To screen the school-going children for common morbidities.
- To provide age-appropriate information about health and nutrition to the children in schools.
The activities planned are as follows:

I. The students of class 1st to 8th will be the beneficiaries of this school health camp.
In view of the health camp, the undermentioned activities will be performed
- General examination
- Dental examination
- Eye checkup
- Ear examination
A record of all these examinations will be entered into the school health card provided by the Department of Community Medicine, SUSMSR, and given to the beneficiaries.
II. A health education session in the form of a ‘Health talk’ will be conducted by senior residents of the Department of Community Medicine, SUSMSR
III. A skit to promote hygiene among school-going children will be performed by the MBBS interns of the School of Medical Sciences, Sharda University.

Venue: Primary and Secondary Government School, Kullipura.
