Overview
School of Design Architecture and Planning (SSDAP), Collaborating with Naz Foundation (India) Trust is an NGO founded in 1994 by the human rights activist Anjali Gopalan with an objective: ‘To create a just and equitable society by transforming individuals from socially and economically excluded communities into agents of change. Naz India works to empower marginalized young women, the LGBTQIA+ community.’
Objectives of Event
This event has following objectives:
- Evolution of the LGBTQIA+ space in India
- The difference between sex & gender
- Constituents of the LGBTQIA+ community
- What is sexuality and to sensitize students towards it
- The struggles of LGBTQIA+ Indians
- Suggestions for fostering inclusivity
