Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research (SSNSR), Sharda University is organizing an event celebrating the International Midwives Days on a theme Sustainable Midwifery: Caring for Tomorrow World’s.

"International Midwives Day" is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the vital role midwives play in ensuring safe childbirth and promoting maternal and infant health worldwide. This year's theme, "Sustainable Midwifery: Caring for Tomorrow's World," underscores the crucial link between midwifery care and the long-term well-being of our planet and its inhabitants

Midwives are not only guardians of life but also champions of sustainability. By providing holistic, woman-centered care, they empower mothers to make informed choices about their health and the environment in which they bring new life into the world. From promoting natural birthing practices to advocating for environmentally friendly healthcare policies, midwives are at the forefront of sustainable healthcare.

Objectives of Event

1.      To sensitized the students regarding the importance of Midwifery Nurse.

2.      To aware the student regarding the scope of Midwifery Nurse globally.

3.      To provide a comprehensive understanding of Midwifery concepts and their application in nursing to empower healthcare landscape.

4.      To inspire attendee by showcasing successful implementation of midwives in nursing demonstrating the positive impact on patient care and healthcare efficiency.
