Event Brief and Objectives (Brief Description)
 

Communication is a fundamental prerequisite of the medical profession and a crucial skill in ensuring professional success for doctors. It has been aptly stated, "Medicine is an art whose magic and creative ability have long been recognized as residing in the interpersonal aspects of the patient-physician relationship.

Objectives of Event

To impart skills to participants

  1. To communicate adequately, sensitively, effectively, and respectfully with patients and their families.
  2. To establish positive, understanding, humane, ethical, and empathetic professional relationships with patients and families.
  3. To communicate with patients, colleagues, and families in a manner that encourages participation and shared decision-making.
