Overview

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) of India is commemorating its 75th anniversary with a significant event organized by the Director General of NCC. A grand Cyclothon has been orchestrated, symbolizing this historic journey, commencing from two diametrically opposed locations in the nation –  Kanyakumari and Guwahati. The meticulously planned route spans 3232 km and 2107 km, converging at the capital state. Under the adept leadership of Brigadier Narendra Chaarag and Col. Anjan Sengupta, 28 dedicated cadets embark on this expedition, exemplifying the spirit and resilience of the NCC. To honor the cadet’s ADC NCC Uttar Pradesh Maj. Gen. Vikram Kumar will facilitate the cadets.

Objectives of Event

The expedition will culminate at Sharda University, Greater Noida, on January 21st, where the cadets will stay in Sharda premises till 29th January 2024, and an inaugural ceremony will mark this momentous occasion. Subsequently, they will proceed towards Delhi, marking the end of their remarkable journey.
