Overview
The Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research (SSNSR) Sharda University is hosting a "School health programme" event in Panchayat village, Greater Noida, on October 8, 2024.
A School Health Program (SHP) is a comprehensive initiative designed to promote the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of students. It integrates health education, services, and support to foster a healthy school environment
It is a 1 day programme to do health checkup and spread awareness regarding importance of balance diet, personal hygiene and oral hygiene among school students
The event is started with health checkup and eye checkup of school and anganwadhi students followed by a skit performance by B.sc 5th semester students regarding importance of personal hygiene, oral hygiene and balance diet and event ends with distribution of some school accessories and light refreshment to school students.
Objectives of Event
- To conduct health checkup for school students.
- To perform under five assessments
- To perform eye checkup for school students
- To educate school children and their parents regarding importance of proper diet and personal hygiene.
- To distributes school accessories and light refreshment to school children
