Overview
Sharda School of Agricultural Sciences proposes to organize an Educational visit to Khursheddpura Village, Dadri, District: Gautam Buddha Nagar, as a part of the Student’s READY (Rural Entrepreneurship and Awareness Development Yojna) programme for Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE). Students from Semester VII, B.Sc (Hons.), Agriculture, shall be visiting the village and interacting with farmers. Farmers are the main stakeholders of Agriculture. Therefore, interaction with them is an indispensable part of any Agricultural program with the aim of knowledge transfer.
Objectives of Event
The proposed objectives of the Educational Visit are as under:
- To improve the social communication skills of the students
- To connect with the local farmers
- To complete the Agriculture related field surveys by the students
