Overview

Nursing is one of the professions which requires knowledge along with clinical competence to provide high quality nursing care. objective structured clinical examination has emerged as an alternative to traditional methods for the skill assessment. This event is specially designed for first year nursing students to train them and evaluate their skills. The 6-day session comprises of OSCE evaluation techniques for evaluating skills and competency related to nursing foundation on individual basis for each nursing fundamental procedure. It will help the student to reflect on their performance and to improve the critical thinking skills.

Objectives of Event

  • The OSCE will increase sense of responsibility in students by presenting them with a set of challenges that they have to tackle individually.
  •  It will help them to master the required competencies needed for performing nursing procedures.
  •  It will reaffirm their confidence in situations that closely resembled professional practice.
  •  To provide a comprehensive understanding of nursing foundation concepts and their application in nursing to empower healthcare landscape.
  •  To promote OSCE Based education as a tool for training and evaluation.
